About Us

We, the Promotional Council for the G7 Sustainable Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting in Takamatsu, Kagawa, are an organization that brings together Kagawa Prefecture, Takamatsu City, and MICE-related organizations (venue and accommodation facilities, travel and economic organizations, and other related parties). The Chairperson of the council is the Governor of Kagawa Prefecture, and the Vice Chairperson is the Mayor of Takamatsu City.

The G7 Sustainable Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting will be led by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and we, the council, will be in the host city making various preparations for the meeting and welcoming participants from both Japan and abroad. We will also be using this opportunity to promote Kagawa Prefecture and all it has to offer.

We will work together with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to ensure that the first G7 Sustainable Urban Development Ministers’ Meeting in Japan will be a great one.
