In order to build the image both inside and outside Japan that “Rare Sugar = Kagawa,” we are working to establish the Kagawa Rare Sugar brand.
Various events such as the Kagawa Rare Sugar Fair are held within the prefecture to build on the idea that “to speak of rare sugar is to speak of Kagawa, and to speak of Kagawa is to speak of rare sugar.”
As a part of the promotion process, rare sugar products are going to be featured in food and drink exhibitions at international trade fairs to appeal to mass media, buyers , and bloggers who can boost public relaitons.
At department stores where rare sugar products are being sold, as well as in some urban areas, we are promoting to consumers directly through prefecture-specific antenna shops.
